Dr. Sayed Akl obtained his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Military Technical College, Grade Excellent, in 1970. He also obtained his MS from Cairo University in 1979. Then he moved to France where he got his Ph.D. in 1983 and Diploma of higher Studies in 1981. Employment Background 2010- Present: Academic Staff Member, Mechanical Department, Engineering Faculty, British University in Egypt. 2008-2009: Dean of Technical Institute for Developed Industries, Military Production, Egypt. 2007- 2008: Chairman of Resarch, Design and Technology Development Center, Military Production, Egypt. 1996-2006: Head of R&D, Factory 200, Military Production, Egypt. 1970-1996: Egyptian Armed Forces.
