Description:
A major component of any oil and gas project is pipelines. They move gas and oil from wells to platforms or gas processing facilities. Large pipelines are also used to transmit oil and gas from one nation to another. Pipelines are significant pillars and assets for oil and gas companies. Hence, East Gas Company approached the British university in Egypt for knowledge transfer from its experts regarding failure analysis of one of its gas pipelines.
Project Challenges:
Challenges to determine the safe operations of the pipe and to increase the pressure to the design pressure with out failures to determine the crack propagation failure.
